Ozone depletion refers to the decrease in the intensity of Ozone (O3) in the upper stratosphere. The emission of CFCs (Chlorofluorocarbon) and HFCs (Hydrofluorocarbons) goes to the upper atmosphere. Ultra-violet rays from the sun hit CFC that release chlorine and bromine atoms. Released chlorine and bromine react with Ozone in the stratosphere making O2 Molecules.
The deficiency of O3 in the stratosphere results in Ozone Hole around the earth’s Polar Regions. This causes UV rays to pass directly hitting the earth’s surface. This makes the aftermath result vulnerable to humans and aquatic life.
The aftermath results of ozone depletion
Ozone is the strong guarding wall of the atmosphere that protects us against toxic radiation from the sun. The decrease in the strength of ozone causes vulnerable effects on human and aquatic life. The holes in the ozone layer affect continents Antarctica, Australia, and northern Europe. Major diseases caused due to ozone depletion is

- Eyes diseases
- Malignant melanoma
- Basal
- Squamrus
- Bad effects on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystem

Production of renewable energy and its influence over the climate change
Planet earth is our home and it’s the humans that need to protect it from disastrous change Production of non-renewable energies like usage of fossil fuels that results from emission of greenhouse gases should be avoided. Technology is striving hard to overcome the usage of non-renewable energy that makes messy issues.
Europe is now changing its trend of energy production from non-renewable to renewable sources. This is a good step towards solving environmental issues. Like the usage of Solar, Wind, and Tidal energy sources.
Need for a great number of plantation globally
Deforestation is also one of the main causes of climate change. Trees are the jewel of lands, without their presence live could not exist. Trees are oxygen producers and carbon dioxide consumers. They keep the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide within an area.
Most of the countries are now taking steps towards afforestation. They are planting many trees to recover the gradual negative change in the climate.
